Pro evolution Soccer also known as Winning Eleven, is a football game series published by Konami. Many football games lovers believe that PES has better display and players’ movements compared to other football games. However, PES had licensing issues and as a result, the teams, players and jerseys might have been inaccurate.

The first edition of PES was released by Konami Computer Entertainment, Tokyo and that time was named the Winning Eleven. In 1995, the PES  was released in Japan and was compatible for Playstation.

Since October 2001, Konami decided to change the title from Winning Eleven to Pro Evolution Soccer. It was released for Playstation and Playstation 2. In the beginning of the PES series, there were no official clubs’ licenses. PES 4th edition was the first series which used full league licenses such as English Premier League, German, Spanish and Italian. This was continued in PES 6th edition when more licenses were added including the full license of International kits. Moreover, in this 6th edition, the French ligue 1 has been also fully licensed.
